Respite services provides supervision and support to individuals living in their private homes. Respite is available on a short-term basis for planned activities and vacations or for family emergency situations. Examples for the use of respite services are a parent/caregiver is experiencing medical issues and needs to be hospitalized or the family needs to take care of the needs of another family member and needs additional help.
